Dan's Crave Listing #198 of 400: This is the huge over-4-foot wide banner that hung at the counter at Taco Bell around 1997 for the first wave of fast-food premium toys for the Special Edition that were made by Applause. This poster is a store display advertising piece and was never intended to be sold or saved or given to the general public. It was like pulling teeth (no offfense to Taco Bell) getting this because at first all the store managers were instructed to send these items back to the distributor. They were not supposed to allow them to get into private hands. But I lucked out and by the time the promotion ended, the heat was off, and I managed to get one from our local Taco Bell. It's made of a sort of plasticized (almost laminated but finer than that) paper, very glossy, size 53 inches by 24 inches. It still has the foam sticky pads on the back that the store used to tack it up, which makes it hard to unroll all the way but since it's plasticized this does not hurt the surface. And the pads can actually be reused (not sure how long they will stay sticky though). Really excellent condition, hard to get, you don't see them up for sale that often. Sure to be a good investment piece. Sorry for the bad pics on this one- it's just been so cold and windy! Will update later w/better pics.
